Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent greets, registers and assists guests in a friendly, courteous manner while upholding hotel brand and sustainability standards. This front‑desk position supports overall guest satisfaction and contributes to the hotel's operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, assign rooms and verify payment methods.
• Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, collect payments and provide change.
• Handle guest requests promptly, resolve complaints or escalate to a supervisor.
• Secure guests' valuables, assist with luggage, and support breakfast area during peak periods.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as balancing accounts and conducting audits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
