Guest Engagement Host

About the role

Join Marbles Kids Museum as a Guest Engagement Host and be the friendly face that welcomes families, school groups, and visitors to a vibrant learning environment. You will help activate exhibits, manage admissions, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, friendly customer service at the welcome desk, handling cash, credit card, passes, and memberships.
• Engage guests on exhibit floors, offering hands‑on activities and “Sparks” to enhance play and learning.
• Guide groups and birthday parties through the museum, explaining layout, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Inspect, reset, and maintain exhibit props to keep them clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory management, and supply stocking.
• Collect data on attendance, surveys, and observations for program reporting.
• Use walkie‑talkies to coordinate with team members and respond to emergencies following the museum’s Emergency Action Plan.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about play, learning, and interacting with children and families.
• Calm, patient, and able to de‑escalate disruptive behavior.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
