Guest Activities Coordinator – Outdoor Programs

About the role

Twin Farms, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury resort in Barnard, Vermont, seeks a Guest Activities Coordinator to lead and develop outdoor experiences that connect guests with the natural beauty of the property. The role blends adventure programming with the high‑service standards of a premium hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead guided hiking and biking excursions on and off the resort, customizing routes to guest ability and interest.
• Design and deliver seasonal outdoor programs that reflect the landscape and guest preferences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, anticipating needs and personalizing each experience.
• Act as a Wilderness First Responder, ensuring safety across all activities and responding calmly to emergencies.
• Assess weather, terrain, and conditions in real time to make safe operational decisions.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and activity areas to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate outdoor activities into daily guest itineraries and support broader guest services.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading outdoor activities such as hiking and/or biking.
• Wilderness First Responder certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong judgment and a calm presence in dynamic environments.
• Passion for the outdoors combined with a hospitality mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage a diverse guest base.
• Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain.
