GSOC Response & Policy Program Specialist

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a GSOC Response & Policy Program Specialist to design, document, and operationalize the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) framework. You will create the GSOC plan, severity matrix, communication templates, and service level agreements, and ensure they are approved and rolled out across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Author the comprehensive GSOC plan and policy, including functions, severity matrix, templates, and SLAs.
• Develop global incident‑specific response protocols and produce two playbooks per incident: an operator‑focused guide and a business‑facing guide.
• Design a scalable on‑call rotation and call tree to guarantee continuous Incident Commander coverage.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, Communications, and Employee Relations to align notification thresholds and obtain pre‑incident approvals.
• Assist in real‑time incident response, manage handoffs to Incident Commanders, and act as the liaison between GSOC and Crisis Management.
• Maintain and update the GSOC standards as the program matures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations, incident response, or related program management.
• Strong ability to write clear policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Comfort with on‑call duties and after‑hours availability.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams (Legal, HR, Communications).
