Groundskeeper/Porter – View at Estancia

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will ensure the community’s exterior spaces, amenities, and overall curb appeal are consistently clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Working closely with the service team, this role supports daily operations and contributes to a pleasant living environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage zones.
• Perform minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident inquiries, and address maintenance‑related complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment.
