Groundskeeper/Porter for High‑Rise Community

About the role

The Ascher is a stabilized high‑rise community in Charlotte, NC, managed by Greystar. We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, pet waste, and ensuring amenities are tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features are operational.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high curb appeal.
• Willingness to follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies.
