Groundskeeper – Walker Landing Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Walker Landing community. You will ensure that all common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds are clean, well‑kept, and meet the company’s high standards of curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑over tasks.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool‑area gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
