Groundskeeper – The Waters at West Village

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of The Waters at West Village community. You will work closely with the service team to ensure common areas, amenities, and landscaping meet Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with turn‑over activities.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and timely reporting of hazards.
