Groundskeeper – The Morgan Community

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of The Morgan community. The role involves daily inspection of common areas, litter removal, and supporting the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep all common areas and amenities tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of lock replacement and gate safety standards.
• Familiarity with waste disposal procedures.
