Groundskeeper – The Margo

About the role

The Margo community is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of its outdoor spaces. Reporting to the Service Supervisor and Community Manager, you will ensure that common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds meet Greystar’s high standards of curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks per property policy and verify that pool gates function according to safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA and related training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
