Groundskeeper – Property Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Lighthouse Pointe community. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and support for the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping all amenities tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnover.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify pool gate functionality.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Basic lock‑changing proficiency.
• Ability to operate a golf cart safely.
