Groundskeeper / Porter (Harbor Grove)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of our Harbor Grove community. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and supporting the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping amenities neat.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
