Groundskeeper / Porter – Full‑time

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter ensures the community’s physical appearance, grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal are maintained to Greystar standards. This full‑time position supports the service team in a high‑rise, stabilized property of 251 units, working Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist the make‑ready specialist, and change locks per policy.
• Ensure pool gates function safely and distribute resident notices as needed.
• Report hazards, demonstrate courteous customer service, and respond to maintenance complaints.
• Attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and promptly report accidents.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays on call.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training.
