Groundskeeper / Porter for The Breckyn Community

About the role

The Breckyn community is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the property. You will work closely with the service team to ensure common areas, amenities, and the overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool gates function safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and timely reporting of hazards or incidents.
