Groundskeeper / Porter for Marlowe Brookwood Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Marlowe Brookwood community. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and support for the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep the property tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates meet safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
