Groundskeeper / Porter for Lakeshore Pearl Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the appearance and safety of the Lakeshore Pearl community in Austin. Working closely with the service team, you will ensure common areas, amenities and the overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders and lifting objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
