Groundskeeper / Porter for Community at The Reserve

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the physical appearance and safety of The Reserve at Camp Creek community. This role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and vacant units clean and orderly.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensuring all common areas and amenities remain tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage areas clean.
• Complete minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
• Commitment to safety procedures, hazard reporting, and participation in routine safety meetings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.
