Groundskeeper / Porter for Avana North Point Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the physical appearance and curb appeal of the Avana North Point community, ensuring that all common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage spaces clean.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist the make‑ready specialist with tasks related to preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule in addition to a Monday‑Friday workweek.

Required profile

• Physical ability to perform grounds‑keeping and cleaning tasks throughout the day.
• Attention to detail to ensure all areas remain litter‑free and well‑maintained.
• Willingness to follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with the service team.
