Groundskeeper (Lease Up)

About the role

The Groundskeeper (Lease Up) ensures the community’s exterior and common areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing. This role supports the service team and assists with turn‑over activities to maintain high standards of curb appeal for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and aid the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
