Groundskeeper – Gardens at Greenhouse

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures that the Gardens at Greenhouse community remains clean, safe, and visually appealing. Working closely with the service team, you will maintain common areas, support make‑ready processes, and uphold Greystar’s standards for curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during turnover.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool‑area gates function safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents or incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.

Required skills
