Groundskeeper for The Rice Community

About the role

The Rice community is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of its outdoor areas. This full‑time position supports the service team by ensuring that all common spaces, amenities, and surrounding grounds meet Greystar’s high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities neat and free of litter.
• Clear trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist during apartment turnovers.
• Change locks in accordance with property policy and ensure pool gates and other access points are secure.

Required profile

• Physical ability to perform manual labor and handle equipment required for grounds maintenance.
• Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the property.
