Groundskeeper for Student Living Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Merrimack College Student Living community. You will ensure that all outdoor areas, common spaces, and amenities are clean, well‑kept, and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
