Groundskeeper for Soltra Firewheel Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and safety of the Soltra Firewheel community. This role supports the service team by ensuring common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds are clean, well‑kept, and meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with apartment turn‑over tasks.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
