Groundskeeper for Residential Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the physical appearance and safety of the Alexan River Oaks community. You will maintain the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal while supporting the service team in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep the property tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates meet safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
• Capability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and reporting procedures.
