Groundskeeper for District on La Frontera

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the physical appearance and safety of the District on La Frontera community. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and support for the service team to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks per property policy and verify pool gate functionality according to safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
