Groundskeeper for Brickyard Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the Brickyard community at Barbers Hill. You will ensure the property’s exterior, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and visually appealing for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and handling maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA‑related training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing ladders, and lifting objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
