Groundskeeper – Community Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of its Coldwater community. You will ensure common areas, amenities, and the overall curb appeal meet the company’s high standards while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with turn‑over activities.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify pool gate functionality complies with safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Commitment to safety procedures and timely hazard reporting.

Required skills

• Operating a golf cart safely.
• Changing and re‑keying locks.
