Groundskeeper – Community Grounds Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Parq on Speer community. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and support for the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters, and keep storage areas tidy.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify pool gate functionality for safety compliance.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, lift, and crawl in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety procedures and timely hazard reporting.
