About the role
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and safety of the community’s outdoor areas, amenities, and curb appeal. This role supports the service team by ensuring common areas are clean, well‑kept, and ready for residents.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities tidy.
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
- Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
- Assist the make‑ready specialist during apartment turnover activities.
- Change locks in accordance with property policy and ensure gates operate correctly.
