Grounds Technician

About the role

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Grounds Technician to provide high-level product and service support to customers and internal facilities. The role involves handling ground cable work, troubleshooting departmental issues, and ensuring efficient processes across our Alexandria, LA location.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive customer product and service support for clients and CTOS facilities.
• Process Ground Lead requests accurately and promptly.
• Diagnose and communicate departmental issues to the Ground Lead.
• Stay current with procedural changes and use tools to improve efficiency.
• Perform high-quality workmanship on ground cable building, repair, cleaning, and testing.
• Complete various assigned projects independently.

Required profile

• Frequent communication with operational personnel.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work safely with power tools.
• Dexterity to use power tools and other equipment required for the job.
• Capability to observe and interpret operational data.
• Willingness to learn technical material and maintain regular attendance.
• Basic understanding of RubberTesting.net.
• Proficiency in building, repairing, logging, disassembly, cleaning, and testing ground cables without supervision.
• Ability to enter data on a computer or tablet.
