GraphQL Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract GraphQL developer to design, build, and maintain subgraph APIs for our platform. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring seamless UI integration, and delivering high‑quality, secure GraphQL services.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and validate detailed requirements from stakeholders, documenting feasibility and impact on existing systems.
• Analyze current systems, define UI integration needs, and address security and session handling considerations.
• Design and propose GraphQL schemas, create architectural and sequence diagrams, and develop prototypes or proofs of concept.
• Initialize subgraphs, define manifests, and implement resolvers and unit tests for GraphQL queries.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments, integrating tools such as Fossa, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
• Build Hoppscotch integration tests, support UI integration, and enable QA testing.
• Resolve issues identified during QA, support user acceptance testing, and incorporate feedback.
• Deploy subgraphs to production, monitor performance, and ensure reliability.
