Graphic Designer I & II – Business Development/Marketing

About the role

Honigman, a leading business law firm, is seeking two graphic designers (Graphic Designer I and Graphic Designer II) to join its Business Development/Marketing department in either Detroit or Chicago. The designers will support the Design Center by delivering high‑quality visual solutions that reinforce the firm’s brand and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling visual assets for internal and external use, including presentations, reports, proposals, infographics, email templates, website graphics, social media posts, and event materials.
• Ensure all designs follow the firm’s branding guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and business development teams to understand requirements and deliver on project goals.
• Prepare and format files for digital and print production, and maintain an organized library of design assets.
• Participate in triage of design requests, manage job file administration, and support quality‑assurance processes.
• Contribute fresh ideas to evolve the firm’s visual identity and assist in workflow and process improvements.
• Work with the Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool to keep assets properly organized and accessible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• For Graphic Designer I: minimum 2‑3 years of professional design experience.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time‑management skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
