Grants & Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Grants & Partnerships Manager leads the acquisition, administration and stewardship of grants and strategic funding partnerships for our Disaster Response Services. Reporting to the Director of DRS, you will ensure high‑quality grant management across the project lifecycle and support the growth of funding opportunities for humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary focal point for assigned grants from start‑up through close‑out, maintaining grant management systems, trackers and documentation.
• Coordinate implementation monitoring, budget tracking, financial reporting and compliance activities in partnership with program and finance teams.
• Identify and mitigate grant‑related risks, support budget modifications and manage donor communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional donors, foundations and strategic partners, acting as the main liaison for reporting requirements.
• Contribute to lessons‑learned activities and support broader humanitarian funding initiatives across HEA, IDR and RSRP programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant acquisition, management and donor compliance, preferably in the humanitarian or disaster‑response sector.
• Strong collaboration skills with program, finance and leadership teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail for audit‑ready documentation.
• Ability to travel periodically to the US office and work in a hybrid environment.
