About the role
This position supports the College of Music and Dramatic Arts (CMDA) by managing graduate‑student data, coordinating student employment, and providing onboarding and orientation assistance. The role focuses on improving information flow and electronic support to deliver high‑quality service to students, faculty, and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate electronic records for graduate students from recruitment through graduation, ensuring compliance with Graduate School and IT policies.
- Serve as the primary partner for hiring and onboarding graduate assistants, coordinating with the Executive Associate Dean.
- Develop and manage databases that track recruitment, retention, student‑worker assignments, and recital grading.
- Administer the CMDA Graduate Slate portal, handling application cycles, queries, and technical support for faculty and students.
- Provide communication and support for international graduate students and other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to work long periods at a computer, sitting or standing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with record‑keeping, data management, and student employment processes is preferred.
