Graduate Software Engineer – Mobile Ads (Ads Core)

About the role

Join TikTok's Ads Core team as a Graduate Software Engineer focused on mobile advertising. You will help design and launch innovative ad features that enhance the user experience on the world’s leading short‑form video platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to develop new ad functionalities for the TikTok app.
• Design, implement, and optimise monetisation features for iOS and Android, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code and comprehensive documentation.
• Partner with senior engineers to share best practices and contribute to long‑term technical strategy.

Required profile

• Recent or upcoming graduate (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Practical experience in mobile app development for Android and/or iOS.
• Strong object‑oriented programming and software design abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a curiosity for new technologies.

Required skills

• Java or Kotlin for Android development.
• Swift or Objective‑C for iOS development.
• Understanding of Android and iOS architecture, performance tuning, and debugging.
• Ability to work with large, complex codebases.
