About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff seeks a motivated Graduate Research Assistant to support ongoing projects in Plant Molecular Biology. This temporary, fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience in a vibrant research environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and execution of molecular biology experiments on plant samples.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and documentation.
  • Collect, process, and analyze experimental data.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and research staff.

Required profile

  • Enrolled in a graduate program related to plant biology, molecular biology, or a comparable field.
  • Strong interest in plant research and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
