Graduate Pharmacist Intern

About the role

Join CVS Health as a Graduate Pharmacist Intern and contribute to improving patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands‑on experience while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring patient safety and delivering high‑quality pharmacy professional practice.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage inventory effectively.
• Participate in workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
• Lead patient care programs and help identify business opportunities to improve pharmacy performance.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to motivate and develop support staff.

Required profile

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the post‑graduate training program.
• 0‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure (or in process) as required by state BOP.
• Strong verbal, non‑verbal and written communication skills.
