Graduate Assistant – Football Operations

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks a motivated Graduate Assistant to support its football program. This role offers hands‑on experience in collegiate athletics while pursuing graduate studies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Football Coach with practice preparations, drills, and game‑day logistics.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and meals for the team.
• Maintain team apparel, equipment, and manage inventory.
• Oversee study halls and ensure academic compliance for student‑athletes.
• Prepare, organize, and distribute game and practice film for coaching staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the football program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; must be admitted or eligible for admission to a graduate program at the university.
• Prior coaching or playing experience in football.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and adhere to NCAA, GAC, and institutional regulations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and punctuality.
