About the role

Island Pacific Academy is seeking a dedicated Grade 3 Elementary Teacher to join its collaborative learning community. The successful candidate will create a positive, student‑centered environment that supports both academic achievement and social‑emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom grounded in social‑emotional learning.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams, specialists, and administration.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and alignment with IPA’s core values.
