Google Data Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Specialist to join our Accenture Cloud First team. You will work directly with clients and senior architects to design, build, and deliver modern data, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Perform data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Develop dashboards and analytics products with Looker or Looker Studio.
• Assist in building ML models and AI solutions with Vertex AI, Gemini Foundation Models, Gemini Enterprise, and related Model APIs.
• Set up MLOps pipelines, monitoring, retraining and deployment processes.
• Participate in client workshops to gather requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Implement metadata management, data quality checks, lineage tracking and security controls using Dataplex and IAM.
• Stay current with GCP releases, Gemini updates and best‑practice engineering patterns.

Required profile

• Foundational experience in data engineering, analytics or machine learning.
• Strong interest in deepening expertise on GCP services.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with clients and supporting senior delivery teams.
