Golf Course Maintenance Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Golf Course Maintenance Intern to join Gozzer Ranch, a Discovery Land Company property. The intern will support daily upkeep of the course, ensuring a high‑quality experience for members and guests while learning the fundamentals of turf management and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, delivering professional service and hospitality.
• Operate mowers on greens, fairways, tees and roughs, and perform edging, weeding and bunker raking.
• Fuel and perform fluid checks on all equipment, reporting any issues to the equipment manager.
• Water and fertilize turf surfaces as directed, and apply chemicals and fertilizers under supervision.
• Set tee markers, change pin locations, repair ball marks and fill divots.
• Assist in construction projects such as building greens, tees, fairways and bunkers, including soil preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance yard and return equipment to its proper location.
