GNC Engineer – Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation & Control

About the role

We are seeking a GNC Engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for our low‑Earth‑orbit satellites. The role will directly influence spacecraft pointing accuracy, orbital control, and overall mission success.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop GNC algorithms for attitude and orbit control.
• Create high‑fidelity simulations of spacecraft dynamics, sensors, and actuators.
• Develop state‑estimation solutions such as Kalman filters for navigation and attitude determination.
• Formulate control laws for pointing, stabilization, and orbital maneuvers.
• Collaborate with propulsion, hardware, and software teams to integrate actuators and sensors.
• Implement GNC code into flight software and conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Validate performance through simulation, testing, and analysis of flight data.
• Support launch preparation, on‑orbit operations, and continuous system improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in guidance, navigation, and control or related fields.
• Strong foundation in dynamics, control theory, and estimation.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
• Experience implementing or testing control systems in real or simulated environments.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, multidisciplinary teams.
