GME Program Coordinator

About the role

The GME Program Coordinator supports the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office within the Radiology Administration department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The role ensures smooth operation of educational programs, coordinates activities for residents and fellows, and serves as a liaison among faculty, trainees, and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks for GME programs, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Maintain and update program information in the Workday system and other institutional databases.
• Coordinate orientation, rotations, and educational events for radiology residents and fellows.
• Assist with accreditation preparation, data collection, and submission of required reports.
• Provide support to faculty and trainees regarding program policies, procedures, and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in health‑care administration, education, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in program coordination or administrative support within a medical or academic setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
