Global Trade Compliance Manager – Defense Division

About the role

Moog is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to support its Defense Division within the Space and Defense Group. The role blends high‑volume trade compliance review with strategic development of compliance solutions for both domestic and international business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Defense Division to develop and implement complex trade compliance strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between the SDG Regional Trade Compliance Manager and internal functions such as Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance.
• Ensure alignment of trade compliance priorities across U.S. and international operations.
• Monitor and interpret U.S. and global trade laws, providing guidance to mitigate risk.
• Support project and program management initiatives related to trade compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or trade‑related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of direct export/import experience.
• At least 3 years of program or project management experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
