Global Supply Chain Transitions Project Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Global Supply Chain Transitions Project Manager to lead supplier transition initiatives, including site moves, dual‑sourcing, and M&A integration, ensuring business continuity for its semiconductor and advanced‑display equipment business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned GSC supplier transitions from intake through closure using Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall methodologies.
• Plan and execute project scope, schedule, and quality while maintaining accurate part, supplier, and risk data.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and escalate changes or conflicts as needed.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including DEA, Quality, and supplier engineering—to track actions and deliverables.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, qualifications, and audits, including travel to domestic and international sites.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge and experience in project and program management, preferably in supply chain environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex information across internal and external stakeholders.
