About the role

The Compensation & Performance Program Manager leads the planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of compensation and performance management programs at Applied Materials. This role drives annual merit, bonus, goal‑setting and performance review cycles, while managing cross‑functional initiatives and change‑management efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of compensation and performance cycles, including merit, bonus, goal‑setting and performance reviews.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications.
• Design and deliver change‑management, communication and training plans to support program adoption.
• Engage stakeholders and ensure organizational readiness for process and program changes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve compensation and performance processes.
• Conduct post‑cycle reviews and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Document and maintain program governance, process documentation and operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, HR operations, compensation or performance management.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives and stakeholder groups.
• Strong project, organizational and change‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated track record of driving process improvement and operational excellence.

What we offer

• Salary range $154,000 – $212,000 per year.
