About the role
Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays. The Global Product Support role ensures new products are launched with robust support processes, driving reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Capture legacy corrective actions and Lessons Learned in new product design intent.
- Contribute to the FMECA process and develop new procedures and Best Known Methods.
- Participate in engineering design reviews and partner with Quality & Reliability to address top field issues.
- Own CAPA processes, conduct or facilitate Failure Analysis, and drive issue resolution with engineering.
- Manage beta site test plans, reporting, and align training plans with Global Technical Training.
- Identify and coordinate stocking of new parts with AGS.
Required profile
- Demonstrates depth and breadth of expertise in a specialized technical discipline.
- Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products and processes.
- Leads functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
- Solves complex problems using sophisticated analytical judgment.
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates alternative viewpoints.
