About the role

General Intuition is building the next generation of real‑world intelligence. As Global Controller you will own the end‑to‑end US accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and tax filings while driving automation and efficiency across the finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close under US GAAP, including revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization and reconciliations.
• Manage US federal, state, and international tax compliance – quarterly estimates, filings, cross‑border structures, and transfer‑pricing coordination.
• Oversee payroll compliance, tax filings and relationships with PEO/providers.
• Lead external audits, prepare annual financial statements, and produce investor updates and due‑diligence materials.
• Design and automate scalable finance processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting using modern AI tools.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of finance experience, including Big 4 or public‑accounting background.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and multi‑entity financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with US and international tax compliance for complex corporate structures.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment with high attention to detail.
