Global Controller – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

Our client is looking for a global accounting leader who will strengthen financial operations and provide the clarity needed for better decision‑making across the business. You will oversee key accounting processes, improve reporting and controls, and work closely with senior leadership, with a clear path toward broader responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring integrity, compliance and transparency in all reporting.
• Design and manage the global close and consolidation process, delivering accurate results for executives, regulators and investors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow strategy to support growth and protect liquidity.
• Build and enforce robust internal controls and scalable systems that safeguard assets and enable expansion.
• Collaborate with P&L leaders to translate financial insights into business strategy.
• Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the accounting organization.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team, positioning finance as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale accounting functions, especially for international entities and intercompany consolidations.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and other globally recognised reporting frameworks.
• Experience in multi‑currency environments, including revaluation, translation and FX risk management.
• Advanced Excel skills and fluency with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex information, build alignment and drive process improvements.
