Global Communications Manager, Pharma Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Global Communications Manager for our Pharma Solutions business in Florham Park, NJ. The role will shape the global reputation of BASF Nutrition and Health’s Pharma Solutions, delivering strategic external and internal messaging across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global external, internal and change communications for the Pharma Solutions Business Unit, aligning strategies with business and marketing objectives.
• Serve as trusted advisor to the GBU SVP and leadership team, providing strategic communications counsel and executing key initiatives worldwide and in the Americas.
• Develop and implement integrated communication, digital marketing and media‑relations strategies to enhance brand reputation and support business growth.
• Create compelling content and campaigns across digital, social, trade and business media, and maintain relationships with industry journalists.
• Drive employee engagement and change communication programs, including town halls, leadership messages and video communications.
• Manage end‑to‑end communication projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, performance monitoring and coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
• Design and execute crisis and issues‑management communication plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global communications, preferably within the pharma, nutrition or health sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior leadership and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong track record of developing and executing integrated communication and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on storytelling.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects, budgets and external agency relationships.
